Flaxley Road is a community with a future. There is a recently created Residents' Association and a commitment from the District Council to look at how people in the area want to see it improved.

The Residents were working with the Groundwork Trust towards a Community Planning Day that would take place in the local school. However they were worried that the young people who lived in the area wouldn't feel that it was their kind of event.

We worked with a group of local young people over a number of weeks – photographing the neighbourhoods, interviewing residents, creating publicity for the Planning Day and creating an exhibition using image and sound that was a feature and a talking point on the day itself:
