Heads Together: Major Funders

Arts Council of England

In it's various forms, we have received funding from the Arts Council every year since 1986. We are currently classed as a Regularly Funded Organisation and have received confirmation that we will be one of the new National Portfolio Organisations from 2012-2015.

The Tudor Trust

The Tudor Trust have funded us for the past three years, providing core funding for us to develop East Leeds FM and help set up Two Valleys Radio. They have now decided to extend that support to provide capital funding towards chapELFM.

The Trustees felt the proposal encapsulated a great idea from an impressive and energetic organisation. They were glad to see a significant input from young people and a real buzz existing around the whole idea.

Paul Hamlyn Foundation

The Paul Hamlyn Fund are the current major funder for our All in the Mind project. Their approach is to provide substantial amounts of funding around particular areas of interest. In the past they have funded us for work with refugee and asylum seekers' groups in Leeds. The funding for our Mental Health work is linked to the Trust's work promoting integration and inclusion.

South Pennines LEADER

Funding from the European LEADER programme has contributed enormously in the last few years to the development of our Two Valleys Radio project. LEADER promotes a community-led approach to rural development, and is jointly funded by Defra and the European Union, and is administered by Pennine Prospects in the South Pennines.
