The Selby Fun Day is a good day out for everyone in Selby. Music, dancing, games, inflatables, demonstrations, stalls – everything you could imagine and more; this year a big temporary skate park.

We worked with a group of young people identified by the Community Education Service; young people who had a range of emotional and behavioural problems. They jumped at the opportunity, undertaking intensive training in photography so that they could be the Official Photographers on the day.

Their photographs became part of an exhibition 'Serious Fun' which was launched at the Civic Centre and officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Selby. It then toured around various public venues in Selby.
